Moving between Korean universities has strict timelines โ especially your D-2 visa. We guide you through every step.
Every step is backed by official Korean university and immigration guidelines.
All universities accept transfer applications from international students enrolled in Korean universities.
Your current D-2 visa becomes invalid within 30 days of your enrollment change, even if the physical expiry is months away.
After admission, the new university issues a Certificate of Admission (CoA) โ the key document for your new D-2 application.
Visit the local immigration office (or apply via HiKorea online) with your CoA, passport, ARC, and required documents.
Once your ARC is updated and new D-2 confirmed, you are fully enrolled and legally covered to begin at the new university.
โI was at Pusan National University and wanted to transfer to Korea University after my second year. KoreaHub walked me through every single step, prepared my documents with me, and I got my CoA from KU within 6 weeks. Now I'm in Seoul studying Business and couldn't be happier.โ
